Neil founded BDG-CPAs in 1982 after a career with PwC, starting with
a 6×8 office and no clients. His founding vision of internal controls, tax savings, and trusted financial statements delivered by top college recruits superbly trained to become top CPA professionals, has been in focus from day one.

He taught entry level training classes at PwC and cost accounting at NYU and Ramapo College. Neil devotes substantial time to BDG-CPAs staff’s learning and growing as a devout user of the The Balanced Scorecard for decades.

Neil has exceptional client service skills: from major corporations, start-ups, first-year employee benefit plan audits, and creator of BDG-CPAs’ unique Real Time Accounting Service. His mentor and personal advisor at PwC, Jim Schiro, became Chairman of PwC Worldwide. Neil is a graduate of Rider University where he was a member of an undefeated D1 wrestling team and President of The Accountant’s Club.

He has a home on Kiawah Island, SC, and enjoys spending time with family & friends and golf. He is partner-in-charge of BDG-CPAs Charleston office since 2017.
